What is CrossFit, and is it right for me?

 

CrossFit consists of various exercises that strengthen muscles, improve agility, and increase endurance and stamina. These exercises may include everything from cardio workouts to high-intensity interval training (HIIT), plyometrics and weightlifting. Every day, coaches lead members through the Workout of the Day, or WOD, a defining aspect of the CrossFit program. This variation in the workout routine helps to target different muscle groups and fitness goals, but also keeps the workouts fun and exciting.

 

Part of reason why CrossFit is such an effective training program is the supportive community that forms at each gym, or ‘Box’, to encourage fellow members and help one another achieve their individual fitness goals.

 

CrossFit is suitable for anyone ages 14+ interested in fitness at any level – from experienced athletes to those just beginning their fitness journey.

 

How much does it cost to join?

 

At Kauai CrossFit, we have flexible plans to suit a variety of needs. Check out our current Plans & Passes for more information.

 

Do you offer Drop In classes?

 

Yes, we offer Drop In classes for CrossFitters visiting from out of town. Experienced CrossFit athletes are welcome to attend any class on our schedule for a flat fee of $25.
